Osechi Ryori is a Japanese new year’s feast that is held on the first day of January. Over the years, I have developed a sense of pride towards the amount of effort and preparation it takes to cook the 30 symbolic dishes that make up the traditional feast. This graphic spread features photographs taken of the holiday and the environment that surrounds it.
